PURPOSE OF STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES AT ELLIS

Student-led conferences provide a forum for students to engage in reflection of how they are assessed and an opportunity to develop next steps and goals aligned to the unit outcomes for each discipline.

Students  engage in the reflection and student-led conference process twice a year (November and March). Each student leads the conversation with their advisor and a family member/support person.  Each conference is twenty minutes in length with time for a student-led reflection and questions and answers.
